Nestled on 20 acres of picturesque farmland, Blackwattle Farm offers a tranquil retreat just a brief 10-minute drive away from the renowned Australia Zoo. Set at the base of the majestic Glass House Mountains, the property is a perfect launchpad for exploring the stunning beaches and hinterland of the Sunshine Coast. Surrounded by verdant pineapple plantations, the farm boasts breathtaking mountain vistas that are sure to captivate your heart.

At Blackwattle Farm, you’ll be enchanted by a delightful menagerie of farm animals, including miniature pigs, miniature goats, dexter cows, sheep, alpacas, ducks, chickens, quails, and peacocks. It’s an oasis of rural tranquility where you can experience the joys of country living and connect with nature.

We offer a cozy and inviting self-contained cabin that features an open-plan design, a king-size bed, a kitchenette, a microwave, a spacious lounge area, reverse cycle air conditioning, fans, and a TV. The cabin has a separate room with two king single beds, its own access to a luxury bathroom with a claw foot bath, and a TV. It’s perfect for guests of all ages and is pet-friendly upon request.

For a unique and memorable experience, we also have a charming tiny house on wheels that features two loft bedrooms, accessible via stairs, and a large deck that overlooks the cow paddocks and rainforest. It comes with a lounge area, a kitchenette, a TV, a compost toilet, a Bluetooth stereo, fans, air conditioning, heating, and a small bathroom with a shower.

We’re excited to introduce our newest addition, the “Tall Gum Tiny,” a stunning tiny house that boasts a queen bed on a meter-high platform and a double bed in a loft (not suitable for children under seven). It features a kitchenette, a fan, reverse cycle air conditioning, a large shower, and a huge deck with a BBQ. There’s also a fancy compost loo and a clawfoot bath on the deck, offering you the ultimate in relaxation and comfort.

All of our accommodations are self-contained and come with outdoor fireplaces, perfect for those cozy evenings under the stars. To top it all off, we offer a delicious breakfast and the opportunity to feed our charming farm animals, all included in the rate.
